5 days to Christmas

Hmm, so here's the thing. According to Nuffnang (2009), I have people google-ing my name everyday, pretty cool eh..but not something to be proud of, since its just an approach for some of my readers to access my blog hehee..

Anyway, it's exactly 5 days to Christmas, my favourite holiday that i anticipate every year. And i'm going back home in 2 days!! Woohoo! I'm so excited to the extent i'm already done with packing earlier than expected, hoping that my luggage wont be overweight at the airport, with all the goodies and junks i got from Brisbane.

I also just got back from a lovely dinner with Patrick, where we celebrated our Pre-Christmas celebration, since he wont be back on Christmas due to the different flight availability, which means we cant spend Christmas together :(
Hence, we compensated it temporarily with the dinner, which was pretty good :)

Anyway, here are pictures of how i spent my last weekend in Brisbane..

Quickie

Peeps, i just renewed my Twitter account.

I've decided that i will tweet from now on due to the laziness of blogging, especially when i blog, i spend heaps of time on the post since there are so many pictures to upload. Blogger.com should really change their feature of uploading pictures like the facebook application.

It is on the right side of this blog (Tweety) , so you can check it out or follow me and my random thoughts.

As random as it gets, i just woke up on a breezy Brisbane afternoon, sleeping for almost 12 hours. And it has been like this for everyday. I just got nagged by mum yesterday for being jobless as well. What can i do? They have all employed their Christmas casuals before i even touched down in Brisbane. Worst to worst, i know there are slots in the strip club, and they always need people. Hmm, maybe i will send Patrick down there, i'm sure he will get employed XD

But i can drop all these thoughts as i woke up today, feeling very enthutiastic as it is exactly ONE MORE WEEK before i go home!! OMG OMG OMG :D

So while anticipating the day to come, besides going shopping and being fed up with food by Patrick, i have been indulging myself in something which i call my 'old friends'

The Sims 3!

It's been awhile since i played these, and boy, the addiction that me and my sister used to have last time. We will be competing to build houses and see whose has the nicest interior and stuff. And i will have lesbian or gay couples in my household, just for the fun of it :D

And when i'm not playing that, i will be burying myself in this..

Patty just surprised me with this, as he knows i love to read, and Jodi is one of my favourite author, after reading My Sister's Keeper and crying my heart out. Hopefully this book lives up to my standard :)

Everybody loves presents

Gifts that i received recently..

Herbie, a gift from a friend.. It is a beanie bag with herbs inside in which you can microwave it and then put it in any part of your body experiencing aching or soreness. Can also be used to keep myself warm. Love it alot, just right for me when i get back to Melbourne :)

My new baby/collection of teddy bears. This is given by Patty, and it's my favourite colour for cuddly stuff :D
Havent thought of a proper name for this teddy yet, i call it different names everytime :P Suggestions anyone?

And also other stuff.. *Hearts*

Christmas is just around the corner by the way. My favourite favourite holiday of the year! Already starting to hunt for pressies hohoho..
And anticipating mine also

It's summer time baby! <3

Hello peeps!

To be honest, i can declare to the world that i am no longer a proud blogger *huge sniff*(not like i ever was anyways, not that much boohoo). I have been making myself live in guilt for not blogging at all, even with the fact that i have absolutely nothing to do at all, NOTHING i emphasise.

But i aint gonna ditch this blog, this blog is going nowhere, just abit dead now and then. Anyways, a little update to the people who are still reading my blog, averaging to 20 per day, which i wonder why, seeing that i dont even read it myself >.<*

Let's get to the real thing here, before i continue babbling..

So exam's finally over, result's finally out. Everything seem to pass so quickly and easily without any blood shed. Indeed there was. I am infact so relieved that everything is over for now. This semester is really one hell of a ride. I can honestly say that i never worked so hard in my studies, up till now. What a sad case, i know..this is how lazy i am :( :(

Well, some of you might have worked harder even on a normal basis, but i am quite proud to say that i am a very determined person this semester, for the reason that i want to make my parents proud (and prove to them that i can be tough and strong even when i'm on my own brrrr...)

I started studying way earlier than usual for exams this semester, and i literally locked myself in the room and broke the record for studying at least 8 hours a day! This is something i have to brag about seeing that i cant keep my arse still at one place for a long time.

So after all the crazy study days, i can again, proudly say that my efforts paid off, and had myself proven to my parents! I was shocked but at the same time very happy indeed when i looked at my result, as i achieved a much better result this semester compared to my other semester so far. I just cant help feeling happy and more motivated, as it makes me believe that anything is possible, really. For that reason, my parents agreed to let me continue my studies in Melbourne next semester woohoo!! That was also the reason why i worked so hard, to come back :) I'm coming back baby!

Right after exams, i was hooked up with loads of packing and moving out of the house, with the reason that i cannot bear staying in the house with such an expensive rent, as well as THE MORE OBVIOUS, staying with the newly moved in guys from India, as they make us LIVE IN HELL the moment they step foot in the house. We had to deal with stinky toilet with their pee stain all over the toilet bowl, stinky house overall, have them slamming the door so freaking loudly everytime they come in and out of the house at odd hours when we were still in bed, and etc etc. I was so relieved to 'flee' from my house for that reason, although i have to say i will miss my comfy and huge room, and also all the memories in that house :(

So i flee from rainy Melbourne to sunny and HOT HOT HOT Brisbane. Hence here i am now in Brissy, trying to get a job but still unemployed after 2 weeks of showing my puppy eyes around
asking people to employ me :(

I dont blame them though, who would employ a person who only wants to work for one month. Even my mum said she wouldn't. So right now, i'm really really poor, but thanks to Patty who is sara-ing me, i'm still chubby and healthy :D

The weather in Brisbane is getting hotter day by day, and i finally got the nice tan i wanted. But i'm still complaining eventually. That's me, contradicting. Anyways, 10 more days of enduring the hot summer in Brisbane, i will be HOME SWEET HOME, just in time for Christmas with my family. Geez, please make the clock wind faster!

Alrightey, pictures time! Here are the pictures of what i've been up to for the past one month..

The sister's visit while i was still having my exams. It was great timing seeing that i needed alot of support at that moment. Thanks for being there sis :)

-The End-

PS: Being jobless makes me a desperate shopaholic. Living in a place filled with temptation makes me yearn for all the goodies i laid my eyes on. I have accumulated so many dresses i dont think my luggage can even fit. Bless me.. Life is GREAT tho :D

Monash Exchange Party @ Marrakech Bar

Yesterday, we guiltily went for the Monash Exchange Party, which is a last event for the exchange students before everyone leaves to their country respectively. Initially i didnt want to go, but i was so tempted to go to the city for my Bak Kut Teh u see! So i decided, hmm i'll just drop by the event for a short while after that. Main motive is still, to make my tummy happy so that i have more mojo to study muahaha.

Okay anyways, how did the event go? Pretty boring actually. I actually brought my lecture notes with me just to make myself feel better, only to get blasted from my friends for being so kiasu hehehe. Hey, another friend brought also k!

Oh yeah, back to the event. Actually it could be fun, but it was a pretty sad night also, because a friend whom i would really like to keep in touch with b4 he heads back to his country, well, didnt want to talk to me anymore, due to a certain reason, which happened to me countless of times already sighhh. He actually dodged me when he saw me, as if i'm a ghost TT
It's kinda sad it has to end this way, oh wells..

Anyway, pictures! Not much, mainly food only hehehe..

Instead of Bak Kut Teh, suddenly i was tempted to go for something else. Oh my beloved Asam Laksa!! Havent had it since i'm in Aussie, how i missed youuuu!!

The happy fatty :D

And to compliment with it, ais kacang!! Which i didnt get to finish because we had to rush to the bar b4 they start charging entrance fee :( :( :(

Arriving at Marrakech Bar, an Arabic inspired place. Pretty nice, with lots of shisha.

Feeling short with Sabrina :)

And Nico, whom i called Nicole

Nicole and Sin

Random guy who took shots of himself when we asked him to take picture for us -__- Dont know why they just enjoy doing that..

With new friends we met that night. Oz who kept pinching my face, Hiro (Nakamura) and another unknown girl.

The Wong's

The dance floor, which is NOT nice to dance to at all. Imagine big big people bumping you around everywhere. There is a white girl that was actually jumping around without seeing or bothering who she knocks down, like literally. Annoyingness

Booyah

Nicole with Edmund who came late

After that, we left early as all of us are feeling more guilty as the night gets later (i think only me). But before heading home, i dropped by to visit my old friend, THE LORD OF FRIES!!

Soooo happeyyy! Sore throat is comingg

Okay, back to studies!

BAK KUT TEH!!

Today marks the last day of classes for the semester, and i actually skipped that final class i have today just because i did some calculation of my time worthiness, and thought i'm better off going back home early to rest :)

Anyway, i have been eating in every day since the hard core studies began, and i just have more and more cravings for food!!

Right now, i'm SO SO SO craving for Bak Kut Teh!
And they have one in Old Town Kopitiam which is in the city, and i just want to go so badly despite the exam period.
The thing is i dont think anyone would want to go to the city during this period as every single minute is meant for studying, so no teman :(
But the Bak Kut Teh is worth a little sacrifice of time for me.
I wanttttttt!!!

Bak Kut Teh Bak Kut Teh Bak Kut Teh..i'm chanting this to sleep while trying to sleep away my hunger..I might just dream about it to give me a little satisfaction =/
